Connecticut Land Use Academy

Program Goal: The Land Use Academy is a program of UConn Extension’s Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR). The Academy provides practical and accessible education for local land use decision makers across the state, focusing on the basic skills needed to serve on a land use board.

Learning Objective: To provide educational opportunities to local land decision makers, with skills needed to serve on the land use board.

Program Components: The basic core Academy sessions are comprised of three courses given in one Saturday workshop, held four times in various locations around the state. In addition, Advanced Training is held each year.
