National Egg Quality School

Program Goal: People need to keep up-to-date with their ability to properly grade eggs according to the USDA standards. All egg processors that wish to have a USDA grade shield on their egg cartons must have a USDA trained grader. This is a national workshop that enrolls 55 individuals from across the country to learn about USDA Egg Grading standards and techniques

Learning Objective: To allow people in the poultry industry to become up-to-date on their knowledge of grading eggs by providing a training session about egg grading and packaging.
