Happy Holidays

Dear Colleagues,

We made it. Another phenomenal semester in the books and another year almost complete. Although I never doubted that our students, faculty, and staff would succeed, I am truly inspired to see how our community thrived during another challenging year. Please accept my sincere gratitude for all you have done this year and every year to ensure our students receive transformational education, our communities have critical support through our extension efforts, and the world is enriched by the scientific innovations and new knowledge you create.

In recent messages, I have shared many of the accomplishments our College achieved in 2021.Those impressive stats are important, but more vital to our College’s success is our most valuable asset: our people. You are what makes CAHNR exceptional and what keeps us moving forward. You are the engine that fuels our growth and ensures our progress. I know that 2022 will give members of the CAHNR community even more opportunities to shine, and I cannot wait to see all that we achieve together next year.

During this holiday season, while we celebrate our respective traditions, we will all reflect on the year that is ending and the possibilities that await in the new one to come. I hope that as part of your reflection, you take a moment to recognize the value you bring to our community. We are strengthened by the people and experiences that make CAHNR such a special place.
