Shannon Raider-Ginsburg (she/her) works with the UConn Extension’s ‘Put Local on Your Tray’ as the special project coordinator and Farm Liaison supporting direct connection between growers and school buyers. Shannon supports farmers, early care providers and K-12 school food authorities in understanding farm to school purchasing from food safety, marketing and communication, logistics, invoicing and more.
Shannon has extensive experience aligning local agriculture, food justice, and education; from larger certified organic CSA operations, community gardens and urban agriculture.
