Charles Krasnow

Associate Extension Educator - Controlled Environment Agriculture


Charles Krasnow is a UConn Extension Specialist supporting Connecticut’s floriculture and nursery industries. He received his BSc from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and PhD from Michigan State University. Charles previously worked with Syngenta on ornamental disease management. His current focus is integrated management of ornamental diseases. He was recognized by Greenhouse Product News in the 40 Under 40 class of 2018 and has recent publications on bacterial and fungal pathogens of peppers, basil, poinsettia, and chrysanthemum.
