Faculty & Staff Monthly Newsletter
April 7, 2025
Dear Colleagues,
Spring time in Connecticut is special. The American shad (Connecticut's state fish) begins its migration up the Connecticut River, spring peeper frogs start to create an unforgettable evening chorus, and many of the state's farmers' markets start to reopen this month. At UConn, basketball wraps up and the late-semester rush begins. CAHNR has a lot to celebrate as well. We just held our annual Awards & Honors event, where colleagues, students, and external partners were recognized for their tremendous contributions to our mission. Undergraduate and graduate student researchers will soon share their work at department and college-wide events. And Commencement is just over a month away.
I'm so excited to share these new beginnings and final hoorahs with everyone at CAHNR. As always, thanks for all you do.
Best,
Indrajeet Chaubey
Dean and Director
