Faculty & Staff Monthly Newsletter

February 3, 2025

College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources Dean, Indrajeet Chaubey

Dear Colleagues,

Since my last message, we have experienced a lot of change. A new semester began, with all the excitement that comes from the start of classes. At the same time, the new federal administration has moved quickly to enact broad and drastic changes that have implications for our faculty, students, staff, and residents of our state. While these changes pose challenges, I continue to focus on the fact that our priorities and our mission remain the same. CAHNR will continue to focus on our core values of ensuring student success, fulfilling UConn's land grant mission, making scientific discoveries to ensure a sustainable future, and working with the communities we serve to help improve their quality of life. And I am confident that our College will continue to meet whatever changes and challenges lie ahead through collaboration, creativity, and compassion.

As always, thanks for all you do.

Best,

Indrajeet Chaubey
Dean and Director
