Nancy Balcom

Center Coordinator, Seafood Safety, Fisheries Senior Extension Educator

Nancy Balcom is a Senior Extension Educator for UConn Extension in the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. She also serves as Associate Director and Extension Program Leader for the Connecticut Sea Grant College Program, a NOAA-UConn partnership based at UConn-Avery Point in Groton. She has a M.A. in marine fisheries from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, College of William and Mary. Nancy’s extension programs include fisheries and seafood safety.
