Faculty & Staff Monthly Newsletter
October 7, 2024
Dear Colleagues,
"Impact" is a word we use a lot. Impact for our students, in our communities, and to tackle the world's big challenges with our research and innovation. As I shared in an email at the end of last month, specific examples of the impact of CAHNR's Strategic Vision are shared in a newly released Strategic Vision Progress Report. I encourage you to take a look at all that we have achieved over the last four years working collectively to identify needs, develop programs and projects that respond, and keep an eye to the future to ensure that our efforts support UConn and the state of Connecticut.
As always, thanks for all you do.
Best,
Indrajeet Chaubey
Dean and Director

CAHNR Impacts 2023
CAHNR makes an impact each and every year. Now we have a new annual magazine to highlight some of the phenomenal work being done within our College's research enterprise, academic programs, and Extension activities.
Strategic Vision Progress Report 2020-2024
Over the last four years, we have spent thousands of hours discussing, developing, and implementing CAHNR’s Strategic Vision. While there is still much work to be done, it is important that we take time to reflect on all of this hard work and the impacts it has already had on our College and our communities. The Strategic Vision Progress Report highlights a selection of the ideas, innovations, and impacts that have come from the Strategic Vision Implementation Committees (SVICs) and the College writ large since 2020.
It is clear from this collection of successes that every SVIC has dedicated their energy and expertise to strengthening our College.
